Terms and conditions

1. Agreement


These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the art.art website (the “Site”), operated by UK Creative Ideas Limited, 1st Floor, 11–13 Hill Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1EF (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.


2. The Site


art.art is the official website of the .ART domain extension: information about .ART domains, editorial content, promotion of the .ART Award, and forms to contact us or submit your story.


3. No accounts


The Site does not provide user accounts or logins, and does not sell products or process payments. You browse and submit forms as a visitor.


4. Your submissions ("Be featured" and similar)


When you submit materials (your name, .ART domain, text and images about your art/company):

  • You confirm you own or have permission to use the materials, and that any people shown have agreed to appear.
     

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and publish the submission to feature your story across the Site and our channels.
     

  • You must not submit unlawful, infringing or harmful content.


5. Acceptable use


You agree not to: break the law; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; upload malware; attempt unauthorised access; or scrape, overload or disrupt the Site.


6. Intellectual property


The Site, its content and design are owned by us or our licensors. “.ART and related marks are trademarks of their respective owner.” Nothing here grants you rights to our intellectual property except as expressly stated.


7. Third-party services & links


The Site uses third-party services (e.g. Wix for hosting, Cloudflare, Usercentrics, and—subject to consent—Google, Meta, X, Microsoft) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices; their terms and privacy policies apply.


8. Disclaimers


The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties and do not warrant the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.


9. Limitation of liability


To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the Site. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.


10. Governing law & jurisdiction


These Terms are governed by the laws of the Isle of Man, and the courts of the Isle of Man have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.


11. Changes & contact


We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
