"In the After Image" is the exhibition catalogue accompanying Medina's solo show at the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum in Baku (April 15 - May 15, 2026).

The publication documents a multidisciplinary exhibition spanning oil and acrylic painting, mosaic, stained glass, digital media, and five newly woven carpets created by master artisans of the museum's Traditional Technology Department under the artistic direction of Taryer Bashirov, Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The catalogue features a foreword by Amina Melikova, Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, and a curatorial essay by Daria Kravchuk exploring how images travel between materials through processes of mirroring, repetition, and translation. It includes reproductions of exhibited works alongside documentation of the carpet-making process, in which Medina's painterly compositions were translated into textile form through coded grid systems, custom-dyed threads, and over two hundred color shades per carpet.

The exhibition also incorporates a sound installation composed from recordings of the carpet-making process and two fragrances by the perfume brand Nose. Four iterations of "Flowers for My Mother" - in oil painting, stained glass, carpet, and digital art - will enter the museum's permanent collection.
