1.1 million .ART premium names are moving to standard pricing

On February 16, 2027, at 11 am UTC, more than 1.1 million .ART names that are priced as premium today will move to the standard rate. That includes short names, dictionary words, two-word combinations and names tied to art, design, music, film and more.
To make them easy to find, we've put the whole list in one place: new-standard-names.go.art. You can search it, filter it, and go straight to a registrar when you find the name you want. Here's why it's worth a look now, not in February, and how to get the most out of it.
Why act before February 16
If you wait for the switch, you'll be searching alongside everyone else who has been waiting for it. Names on this list are registered first come, first served, and good ones go every day.
Registering now has three advantages:
You get the name before the rush. Once these names reach the standard rate, the best ones are likely to be taken quickly.
Your renewals still drop. Register at today's price, and your renewals fall to the standard rate after February 16.
Some registrars already discount them. Depending on where you buy, today's price may already be lower than the list price.
The list covers three current premium price points:
Current premium price | Names on the list |
$70 | 415,826 |
$140 | 445,722 |
$210 | 244,615 |
Total | 1,106,163 |
How to find your name in four steps
1. Open the page and search
Go to new-standard-names.go.art and type a word into the search box: your name, your studio, your medium, a project. You don't need to type ".art". Results appear as you type, with exact matches first, then names that start with your word, then names that contain it.

2. Narrow it down with filters
Not sure what you're looking for? Browse instead. You can combine filters to get from 1.1 million names to a short list:
Current price: $70, $140 or $210
Name type: single words, two words, three words, short names of 4 to 5 letters, or numbers and hyphens
Theme: 14 themes, including Art & Design, Music, Film & Media, Colors, Nature and Food & Drink
Length, starting letter and sort order, plus a box to hide names that are already registered
In the example below, choosing $70, Two words and Art & Design narrows the list to 1,754 names, from absolutedesign.art to abstractpainting.art.

Tip: the page address updates as you filter, so you can bookmark or share a search.
3. Click Where to buy, then Continue
When you find a name you like, click Where to buy. The page copies the name for you and the button changes to Continue. Click Continue to see the list of .ART registrars, pick one, and paste the name into their search box.

Names marked Registered have been registered by someone since the list was made. Names marked Not available can't be registered.
4. Prefer a spreadsheet? Download the whole list
Use Download the full list at the top of the results to get every name as a CSV file (6.8 MB, zipped). It includes each name's current price, length, type, themes and status, so you can sort and filter it any way you like.
Tips for finding a great name
Start with what you make. Search your medium (canvas, ceramic, mural, vinyl) and see what it's paired with.
Try your name both ways. Search your first and last name together, and each one alone.
Think in pairs. Two-word names make up more than 150,000 of the list, and many read like a studio or project name.
Go short. Nearly 194,000 names are short, at 4 or 5 letters, which makes them easy to remember and type.
Check Hide registered to see only the names you can still get.
